Privacy & analytics
This portfolio uses Google Analytics to measure page visits, navigation and resource clicks, and progress through the About page’s puzzle. Gate measurements include whether a visit started, completed, or ended before completion, elapsed time, and aggregate incorrect placements. An incomplete visit is not proof of failure.
Events include the page path, button or link category, and relevant program name. Contact clicks are recorded only as Email, LinkedIn, or GitHub—not as email addresses or profile URLs. Query strings and referrer addresses are not included in these events. No visitor identification form, analytics cookies, stored visitor ID, Google Signals, or advertising personalization is used.
Google still receives network and device information, including the IP address used to make a request, and may derive approximate location. Cookie-free reporting does not mean that no data reaches Google. Returning visitors cannot be reliably recognized, and blocked or undelivered events can make reports incomplete.
Tracking is skipped in regions where this site requires analytics consent, and when the visitor’s region cannot be determined. No consent banner is used. Global Privacy Control and browser Do Not Track preferences disable these analytics. You can enable either preference, or block Google Analytics in your browser, to opt out of future reporting; changes take effect for subsequent events.
The About puzzle is required on every visit. Completing it is not stored as permission to bypass it later. Measurement is used only to understand portfolio engagement, not for advertising or identifying visitors.
